On weekends I'm writing about all the things I'm currently crazy about. Check it out! 1. Podcasts! I know right of the bat that this sounds super boring and only cool five years ago. But I'm telling you, on your long drives or really boring cleaning sprees, find that podcast app that Apple has preloaded on your iPhone and subscribe to some podcasts. My very favorites are Serial (just like basically everybody else), NPR's This American Life, and the TED Radio Hour. You'll thank me for this I promise. 2. Shirt Dresses So the thing about a really well constructed shirt dress is that you literally cannot go wrong. It's perfect for brunch with friends, a job interview, or a date night. Gingham, chambray, or seersucker are my personal favorites. I wore this one at my four year anniversary date with Ben this week! P.S. We had dinner at Lindey's in the German Village and it is by far our new favorite. 3. Ice Cream of the States Check out this article about all the most incredible ice cream shops in all fifty states. Summer road trip material for sure. Click the button below to hop right to it! 4. The Skimm
Ok this is actually something I've been unable to start my day without for the better part of a year. Basically, two very smart young women spend all day wading through the overwhelming number of news stories that you are too busy to care about, and they put only the most important ones into a newsletter. The newsletter is as informative as it is fun to read, and shows up in your inbox first thing every morning to make you feel like the most informed person in the room all day. It's free and easy to subscribe. Just click this button!
