Five Things for Fall

Welcome to Fall! Let me catch you up on some things that are going on around here:
(1) I am in the process of writing a devotional series for December that will drop in your inbox every morning for the whole month. Hopefully, you saw I pop-up when you opened the site that would allow you to sign up for the emails. Just put your email address there and you’ll never miss any of my December devotional email! (2) I am on a quest for the PERFECT apple pie by Thanksgiving. I have made one of my my heavily researched and vetted set of four trial recipes and will update you soon! In the meantime, if you have the perfect apple pie recipe for me, let me know in the comments!

Now! Without further ado, here are five things you NEED to know about for fall.

1. Remember God

If you’re no stranger here, you already know that Annie F. Downs is one of my favorite humans on the planet. I met her in real life in Nashville and found her as charming in person as she is in her books. Her newest book, Remember God is all about God’s kindness and you must read it immediately. If reading isn’t your thing try the audiobook!

2. Fab Fit Fun

If you have an instagram account and you are a woman you have NO DOUBT seen these advertised by every minor celebrity and ex-bachelorette alive. Well, I caved and I bought one, and it has changed me. I don’t think I’ll ever miss one again! I got snacks and a leather bag and a french press and full size products so nice that one alone with cost more than the entire box. I got mine for $39. Treat yo self.

3. Pumpkin Spice Syrup

I’m a pumpkin spice fiend. Trader Joe’s might stay in business just because I buy them out of house and home every time I see pumpkin flavored anything. Similarly, my pumpkin spice latte addiction was getting a little out of control. SO! I made this easy coffee syrup and now my mornings start with a PSL anytime and for so so much cheaper than a daily Starbucks stop.

4. Evelyn Henson

Her watercolor art is a dream. I fell head over heels for her Instagram account and when I found out she has GIFS, my day was made. She makes these precious watercolor gifts that can be found when you search the GIF tag in instastories and you have my word that they will enhance your instastory game. Godspeed.

5. Autumn in New York

Some sweet human made this Spotify account and as a mood music listener, it is right up my alley. This feels like you’ve dropped into When Harry Met Sally and are stolling the sidewalks of New York in October. It is the ideal baking soundtrack.
