Ok so at this point, we are not new to planning Disney vacations and I don’t want to brag here, but this has been the very best weekend trip we have EVER planned. Let me tell you all our secrets to booking the most magical Disney weekend you can imagine. We flew in on Thursday night after work and got into our hotel a little after 8pm. Luckily, we stayed at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Resort Hotel which is literally steps from Disney Springs. We dumped our bags in our stunning pool view room and headed over to Disney Springs. Before I get into what we did over there, I just need to take a second to tell you about our resort. We sing Wyndham Lake’s praises from the rooftops every chance we get! You get the full resort experience (you can see pics of the pool below) at a fraction of the cost of the surrounding resorts. We also LOVE being so close to Disney Springs since it is one of our favorite parts of the Disney experience. Ok so - we walked over to Disney Springs and immediately got a table at Chef Art’s Homecoming Kitchen. I ordered the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits, and they were a DREAM. Then we jumped in line for Gideon’s and were pumped to get some warm cookies before they closed up for the night. Then it was up to our room for some much needed rest before Magic Kingdom in the morning. Magic KingdomWe woke up on Saturday morning SO excited to get into Magic Kingdom! We got there right as the park opened and immediately started eating ALLL the snacks! At this point, I’m basically the snack expert, so let me tell you that if you find yourself in Magic Kingdom this year, you need to get your hands on a Cheshire cat tail from the Cheshire Cafe and a Cheeseburger spring roll from the spring roll cart in Adventureland. Another tip you must know about! I have always wanted to get a reservation at Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Table. But they book SO far out that I’ve never been about to. SO! I saw on TikTok that you can use MouseDining.com to scoop up cancellations and - YOU GUYS! - I got both reservations for us on our Magic Kingdom day!!! The grey stuff at Be Our Guest really is delicious and eating inside the castle itself was truly a once in a lifetime kind of magical. EPCOTThe next day we spent some extra hours by the pool reading and relaxing before walking over to Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs for a glazed donut and coffee and catching our ride to Epcot. The new Ratatouille adventure was finished in Epcot this year and we were so excited to try out the new ride. It was SO much fun! When we got off Remi’s Adventure, we celebrated with some of the most delicious bread and butter from the new Boulangerie in the Paris pavilion. Epcot was a blast and if you haven’t seen the new fireworks show for the 50th, I promise you’ll be blown away! Watch from Japan! Sky Liner TourOn our last day we didn’t have to catch our flight until 10pm so we had the whole day! We spent the whole morning relaxing by the pool except for a quick morning walk over to Disney Springs to get one of the coffee cake cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse. I kid you not guys – best cookie I’ve ever had. After checking out of our hotel, we walked back to Disney Springs for a quick drink at Hanger Bar (get the Tim’s Tea!) and lunch at Paddle Fish (get the fish tacos and garden salad).
Then we tried something brand new to us! We caught an Uber from Disney Springs to the Riviera Resort and had a coffee in their adorable lobby coffee shop and then jumped on the totally free skyliner for a ride to Caribbean Beach Resort. We got drinks at Banana Cabana and then took the skyliner to the EPCOT stop. Once we got to EPCOT, we hopped on a Friendship Boat for a free ride to Disney’s Boardwalk, where we visited Abracadabra Bar and the Pizza Window. From there to walked to the Yacht Club and Beach Club where we explored before our dinner reservation at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop (get the French Dip). From start to finish our weekend in Disney was perfect AND thanks to the Wyndham, it was also budget friendly and so convenient. We can’t wait to come back to Disney again soon! Planning your own trip to Disney or have any questions? Let me know! I’m happy to help!

We are going to Disney in a couple weeks and staying at the Wyndham! I love the sky liner tour idea! Will try to do that on one of our non-park days!
