Every year right around the end of October we schedule our photo shoot and design our Christmas cards. This is an important tradition to me because though Ben and I have moved away from our hometowns and graduated out of our college communities, we desperately don't want to lose touch with the people who were so vital in forming us into the people we've become. So every year I order 100 Christmas cards and send them to the people I want to be sure we stay connected to. However, while Minted makes the dreamiest Christmas cards on the internet, I'm not trying to go broke in this process. In the past, I've used Snapfish with great success (you can read more about that here). But over the last several years I've been using Vistaprint - yes, the business card people. If I were to purchase them right now, I would be paying $111 for 100 cards and 100 white matching envelopes. BUT here's why we are talking about this in October: Vistaprint habitually runs 50+% off sales. I will keep this sitting in my cart until the email comes through that holiday cards are being marked down 50% or more. Once I see that sale, I put the order through and have these babies out by the first of December. In my opinion this option is the perfect mix of high quality and low budget. It's worked for us for years and I'm so excited to do it again for 2018. We also love to include a quick year at a glance on the back of our card and that is included in full color for free. Here is the proof of the 2018 card and of course be sure to comment if you want to be sure to get one in your mailbox! ALSO! Don't forget to subscribe to the December 30-Day Devotional on the right side of this page! I am so excited for this coming season. Happy almost Holidays to you!
